History

Westhill Golf Club was established in 1977 at a meeting held at the Westhill Inn.  The meeting was called for those interested in forming a club.  Held on the 5th October 1977, 60 people attended and it was resolved to call the club ‘Westhill Golf Club’.

The vision for the Club was, and still is, to create a viable and sustainable golf facility that compares well with its peers in the surrounding area and to allow members to play and enjoy the game of golf.  Sitting proudly in the centre of Westhill, the course has grown into a great community facility for members.

Over the years the course layout has been changed various times, with the addition and removal of some tees and greens, trees being felled from various places, bunkers being added and removed and even a pond introduced to compliment the 5th hole.  All in all these changes have left us with the superb yet challenging layout we proudly have today.
